    The /typo3conf/l10n/fr/rtehtmlarea/Resources/Private/Language/fr.locallang_accessibilityicons.xlf:external_link_new_window_altText Primary Care Access Point (GAP – Guichet d’accès à la première ligne) is a service for Quebecers who don't have a family doctor or specialized nurse practitioner in primary care (SNPPC) to help them find the health service that best meets their needs. 

     

    Through the digital Primary Care Access Point

    If you don't have a family doctor or SNPPC and your situation seems to require a clinical assessment or a health or psychosocial service, you can make a request (online or via the telephone hotline) for someone to call you back.

    If you have a family doctor or SNPPC, you won't be able to request a callback.     Telephone hotline 811, option 3

    If you need help filling out the online form, you can call 811, option 3. Agents will assist you so that you receive a call back from a Primary Care Access Point agent without having to wait on hold.

    GAP hotline is available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends and public holidays.

     

     

    Call back from a Primary Care Access Point agent

    If you have requested a callback, a Primary Care Access Point agent will call you back to assess your health need and direct you to the most appropriate resource. They can help you make an appointment if a consultation with a health care professional appears necessary.

    When they call, you can choose one of the following optio

    • Take the call;
    • Request a call back later;
    • Cancel your request if it is no longer necessary.
