About the Centre intégré de cancérologie de Laval (CICL)
Launched in 2011, the Centre intégré de cancérologie de Laval (CICL) of the CISSS de Laval is a true centre of excellence and a leader in the fight against cancer that provides services for residents of Laval and the surrounding regions.
The CICL provides cancer patients and their family caregivers with access to quality care and services that are delivered as close as possible to where they live.
The CICL uses an innovative interdisciplinary approach in which many partners work across a continuum of care that is focused on patients and their families. The goal of this approach is to better coordinate care so that patients have a seamless experience and to improve service accessibility, service quality and client satisfaction.
The CICL is committed to improving the patient experience and maintaining patients’ quality of life.

As a user of the CICL, you entrust us with several personal information. We assure you that all this information will be recorded and used in compliance with legal standards of confidentiality.
Updating personal information
In order to keep your personal information up to date, we ask that you notify the administrative agent at the reception of any changes to the following elements during any visit to the CICL:
- your address;
- your home or cell phone number;
- the contact details of your family doctor;
- the name and contact details of the person to contact in the event of an emergency.
Business hours
The CICL outpatient clinic is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Treatments are given between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
Please note that the CICL is closed, unless otherwise stated, during statutory holidays.
Access to CICL
- By car
The CSSSL CICL is located at 1755, boulevard René-Laennec in Laval. A sign indicates direct access to the center and the parking lot.
Boulevard René-Laennec runs parallel to Autoroute des Laurentides and is accessible via Autoroute 440. The CICL is approximately 500 meters north of Autoroute 440.
- By public transport
Bus lines no. 43 and no. 70 of the Société de transport de Laval make stops on René-Laennec Boulevard opposite the Cité-de-la-Santé Hospital and the CICL.
- By adapted transport
Parking spaces for ambulances, paratransit and cars with disabled stickers are available in the roundabout (roundabout) adjacent to the main door of the CICL.
CICL cancer program
The mission of the CICL cancer program is to provide cancer patients and their families with a continuum of services from prevention to palliative care while adhering to the orientations of the CISSS de Laval and the Direction québécoise du cancer (DQC).
The CISSS de Laval’s cancer program at the CICL provides inpatient and outpatient services that include a wide range of ambulatory care, such as chemotherapy, radiation oncology, and support services.
The CICL's state-of-the-art technology includes:
- Four linear accelerators for radiation therapy
- Two CT scanners for treatment planning
- A planning system
- An oncology information system
- A high-dose rate (HDR) brachytherapy machine
