    Call 911 for emergencies or immediate assistance.

    You must call 911 in the following cases:

    • When someone’s life or health is in danger
      • Childbirth
      • Seizures
      • Respiratory distress
      • Electric shock
      • Choking
      • Hemorrhage (internal and external bleeding)
      • Drowning
      • Fainting
      • Allergic reaction (itching, difficulty breathing or swallowing, skin rash)

    • You witness a serious accident or criminal act
    • A person needs to be transported by ambulance
    • A person needs immediate assistance and must be taken to the emergency room

    If in doubt, call 911.
