Individual consultations

Service description

We offer you personalized help for your needs and concerns. You’ll meet with a smoking cessation specialist who will help you through the process. During the consultations, you will: 

  • Explore your nicotine dependence
  • Choose a personal goal
  • Learn more about nicotine replacement therapies
  • Develop strategies to deal with withdrawal
  • Consider ways to avoid starting smoking again

Who is this service for?

For people of any age who want to break free from their nicotine addiction. To be eligible, you must reside, work or study in Laval or be followed by a doctor in Laval.

You can make an appointment for this service yourself.  You can also be referred by a health professional (doctor, nurse, kinesiologist, nutritionist, social worker). Démarre le chargement du fichier Here is the  form to be completed by your health professional.

Group workshops: “Respire-Action” program

Workshop description

Attend a series of meetings run by a health professional who specializes in smoking cessation. During these meetings, you will:

  • Discover an approach to help you quit at your own pace and that is based on discussion, support and respect
  • Explore your addiction to nicotine
  • Choose a personal goal
  • Learn more about nicotine replacement therapies
  • Develop strategies to deal with withdrawal
  • Consider ways to avoid starting smoking again

Who are these workshops for?

For people of any age who want to break free from their nicotine addiction. To be eligible, you must reside, work or study in Laval or be followed by a doctor in Laval.
